It is called "Star Salute" by Michele Scott. The pattern is in McCalls Quilting magazine August 2001 edition. I made some changes to avoid using the templates, they paper pieced the stars, I just hand drew some and used heat and bond to fuse them onto plain navy rectangle . I wanted to try the easiest method of making 3 D flying geese, made 40 of them 2 x 4 finished size, and just used different sized scraps for the border. Let me know if you need any other info.
