Unfortunately cctx, I agree with Butterflyblue. Years ago, before I married my husband, I decided to clean his fridge. It had nasty looking, sticky stuff on the bottom. Put on my gloves and went to work scrubbing. Lo and behold the stuff ate my heavy duty rubber gloves. Your fabric brings back these unfond memories.
