Most of them called me by my legal name, but when I got old enough to argue with them I told them my name was Paddy O'Brian, for whatever strange reason. Never did like my legal name, and my ex-inlaws in Texas called me Patty Sue. It was the law then that everyone had to have two names. In fact, exHubby was legally Billy Bob. Not William Robert.
