i was getting something out of our garage a few days ago and came across a bag that i know wasn't there before. I love my MIL but she is a pack rat...big time. (she lives with us) When i started quilting she told me, i have fabric..mostly polyester because it doesn't wrinkle. Not good for quilting. We did find a couple of yard of the ugliest green plaid but that is it. So i was quite delighted when i came across the bag with 4 yards of a cotton ( not quite sure what it called) and 17 FQ....I brought my find in, Asked my MIL if she remembered them, and if she cared if i used them. Yes i could have them and yes she remembered them. My DH ex wife wanted a jacket and costume from said find and that the bag has been lost for close to 5 years..Guess my DH ex gave us more then just my DD...I just might have to thank her :D :-D
