This is how mine turned out. I used a greenish blue and white. I am thinking I am going to extend it by half to make it longer before I finish it. The material I used was a polyester that I had purchased really really cheap for some other projects and this was left over. I would not normally choose polly for a quilt but cheap and in my stash was a factor for this project. The material was a pain to work with, lesson learned. The tutorial was great, I had no problems with your measurements. I ended up keeping my ruler next to me and measuring each strip so I would not pick the wrong one as I put thit together.
