When I grow up, I want to be able to piece and applique as well as you do. I see nothing wrong in having a long armer do the quilting since I personally do not have the vision or talent to do it.
I love poppies and have a large stash of the poppy border fabric that you used. Someday I'll get something made with it and the coordinating fabric I have and just hope that it will be half as nice as yours.
By the way, Sue's quilting is also gorgeous and compliments the work you put into the top. Good job all the way around.
