all i did was get the piece of wood at Lowes and they cut it in half for me. i had to cut the notch out to fit my machine (made a paper pattern). i got a dowel rod (1.5" i think) and some of those adjustable height feet from hardwhere (where the furniture wheels and stuff are).

worked beautifully once i got the miter box to cut the dowel rod/feet pieces straight!
