Your quilts simeply take my breath away. When I started, I didn't believe a quilt was really a quilt unless it was handmade. I was a teenager, and impatient, and had a hard time making things square; so I switched to machines, then stopped altogether when I had my DS. I especially like the brown circular one you've posted-it shows you can be modern and still do it by hand, just amazing.

I agree that the long arm meadering looks more like a blanket than a quilt, and I also dislike the stiff, over-quilted, over-feathered monstrocities. I'm sure I'll insult a lot of people, but it seems like some people buy long arms to compensate for their inability to quilt well. I say this objectively-from someone who only pieces, but I appreciate well done quilting and agree hand quilting should be a separate category.
