We've been working and the first coat of paint is almost on. DS came up this weekend and WE HAVE LIGHTS! He is still working on the outlets, but he got the service from the house in and the lights and about half the outlets. He'll be back to finish up probably next weekend. Of course, this is not the lighting I will have later, but at least the room looks welcoming, doesn't it?? The black square at the end of the room is the hole for the A/C. We covered it with a plastic trash bag since we are hoping for rain tomorrow.
