I have the same thing happening to me. I've tried lotion but it doesn't help. When I mentioned it to my internist, he thought it might be the beginning of carpol tunnel syndrome. I told him I'd never heard of that from all of the people I knowwho have CTS but he still thinks that is what is causing the itching. Your Dh should see a doctor. He may decide he could live with the itching rather than the cure (as I did).
I agree......make an appointment with his doctor.
In the mean time I would suggest keeping a daily log to see if it starts at the same time, or after doing something with chemicals or whatever. That would be helpful when it comes time to see the doctor, because I'm sure these questions will be asked. Other than a hand lotion, I don't think I would take anything for it until seeing a doctor.
If your husband balks at seeing the doctor then I would suggest that he do all the dish washing and also the laundry....by hand, since warm water might help relieve the itch. That might be a great time do re-wash all the items in the linen closet. We must keep him busy.
As I tell my husband, either see the doctor or keep your complaints to yourself, as I'm aware of it since he already told me all morning and I don't need to hear it anymore. :wink: ;) :lol:
