I got this off of Allrecipies.com. I've made it every year for the past 7 or 8 years. It is WONDERFUL. The best tasting and the easiest one I've ever made
4 pounds corned beef brisket
1 cup brown sugar
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle Irish stout beer (e.g. Guinness®)
I also mix 1 teaspoon of dried mustard powder with the sugar.
Pat the brown sugar onto the top of the beef in a roasting pan. Pour the guiness over the meat. Cover and roast at 300 degrees for 2 1/2 hours.
