It will be interesting to see just how the Japanese undo this damage. It's not the first time and unfortunately probably not the last, but lets hope the next doesn't happen for 2000 years.

I understand that there are areas where the debris was gone in 24 hours. I'm sure it was areas on the fringe with a minimal debris field.

Still, I look at all these images and wonder, if I were there where would I start? I suppose that after the recover effort is exhausted the heavy equipment will have to be brought in.
If I ever think of complaining about being cold or hunger or thirsty, I will keep my mouth shut!
