As a hair stylist, I have had several clients call me with similar predicaments, my suggestion, if you don't want to pay a professional to correct this is to go to a beauty supply house and ask for a color remover, this will lighten up the hair, but depending on the color you used to the results of the detergent, this should the hair color will vary, you may need to color your hair again to try and get an average looking color, another idea is to shampoo with tide laundry soap, your hair feeling odd because it has stripped all the oil out of your hair, so this means a very, very good conditioner, good luck, :D
