As quilters we are sometimes seen as just "little old women" with nothing more to do, but in reality our work touches soooooooo many heats as in this situation. Our stitches hold and stablize more than fabric. So very happy that you were able to give this grandfather an opportunity to honor his wife and grandchild with what some visualize as "just a quilt". After all is said and done the "simple" things in life are usually the most beneficial.
