I have a Viking that I replaced with a Bernina 153. The Viking didn't have a needle down function and the blanket stitch had a zig-zag between bites instead of a straight line. But I loved everything else about it. The Bernina jams, is a bear to thread, and I have to oil it! So, I'm not sure if I would buy it again.
