The really big one over 23 inches long arrived in a huge box and was protected in a flat cardboard folder that I keep my new cutting mat and other larger type June Taylor rulers stored in. I was impress with JoAnn's shipping method, it provided a storage container I would not have gotten if I had purchased them in a store. With gas so high and the nearest JoAnns 80 miles away, shipping is much cheaper.
