I bit high in price for me too.
The White 77 model were fashioned to compete with the Singer Featherweight model 221; it has a lightweight body.
But they are a lot lower in price than the FWs. Cute machines too!
Yup, I have noticed that the prices are going up almost all across the nation. Large cities have the most inflated prices, totally ridiculous.
