Yes, I have one just like it only I paid about $400. for mine and that was 20 years ago! Be sure to keep it well-oiled and greased. That is the key to their longevity. They are oil hogs and simply won't run well. Also, remember to unscrew the plate under the needle and clean out lint regularly. It builds up faster than one could imagine. Good luck with your baby. One thing I didn't know for the longest time is that there is a "reverse" - just throw the handle all the way up in the area behind which you set the length of your stitches.
