I grew up in the 70s but heard all about the 1930s from my great grandparents & their daughters (my gradma and great aunt). To this day, I still love 30s prints. They remind me so much of my great grandma. I'm almost finished constructing the pieces of Dear Jane in 30s repros as a tribute to her.
I have some of my great grandma's fabric & treadle box, too. I wrote a post on another site about it, with photos. Will add the address if anyone would like to check it out.
A friend liked the post so much, she sent me a huge box of vintage 30s fabrics. They're really neat! Photos are on my blog under popular posts 'mail call'.
