A few years back, flying was fun and relaxing. I loved flying and getting the peanuts and sodas, the meals were just never that great. Movies were cool! However all of a sudden they wanted you to pay for the nuts, sodas and movie if you wanted to be able to hear it. And unfortunately as times change we have to take on added security measures, so now I will not fly, I will drive myself or take a boat if it is overseas. One thing I do truly miss about flying, is I always seemed to be the one who sat next to the poor person who was scared to death. I would chat with them, and take their mind off the take off, turbulence and whatever. One lady I held her hand for four hours, the entire trip, her first time on a plane, I was only 13. She was off to see family one last time and she needed to get there quickly. I know that now she is no longer with us here on earth, but I am sure she is up there in the clouds that she realized where not that scary when you were above them. ;)
