As long as you've had a tetnus shot recently you should be OK, if it's been over ten yrs call your Dr or go t urgent care for one. Keep the wound clean and use tri-antibiotic cream on the would and keep it bandaged and dry. If the wound becomes reddened, throbs and the pain increases go to urgent care or the ER immediately. I did this whenI was 5 with a treadle machine not an electric one. Since then I keep my fingers out of the way and have never repeated the injury. That's a big OUCH alright!
