Six years ago, I broke my left wrist, pulverized the top of the radius actually. My amazing surgeon put me back together with a a titanium plate and 8 screws. Afterward, he gave me hard copy pictures of the xrays with my new hardware. So, I printed them onto fabric and made a wall hanging with the two xrays in the centers of stars. I told him because of what HE did, I could go back to doing what I did (quilting) and I had to show my appreciation. He told me he could honestly say he had never received anything like it.
