Years ago my high school age daughters & a couple of friends were riding on a float for a parade & needed mouse costumes. I made them out of grey polyester that I found on sale, including a cap with mouse ears & plastic mouse nose. I put on the first finished costume to check it out, walked into the living room & scared my dog, he jumped up, & shaking ran to the bedroom to hide under the bed.
