Please don't call yourself "worthless". I'll bet you mean the world to that little one in your avatar. If you do nothing but share thoughts with everyone on the quilting board, you're filling one of life's greatest roles: friendship. Besides that, you're quilting - need I say more?

I was a social worker for a few years before having my 3 kids, who are now in their 30's. I've been a "retired" stay-at-home mom since they grew up. Full-time wife of 39 1/2 years, too. I stayed busy and was never bored. Lots of crafts, reading, a little volunteering. I feel very lucky that I was able to stay home with my kids.
