Oh I remember using three wire hangers taped together, here and there. and then using two colors of yarn to cover the entire hanger. Made some really nice, no-slip hangers. I wish I could remember how to make them but it didn't require crochet. Also, one year I made a Christmas tree with using several and tying on garlands, lights and mini ornaments, too. Memory isn't what it used to be and I'm sorry I don't have directions to make either.
