Get a straw and, with some tape (duct works great), create a "nozzle" for your vacuum, then use this to clean, you want to suck the dust bunnies, not blow them in deeper. I told my Bernina store about this (I read this in an online forum) and they loved the idea.
The straw makes a very flexible nozzle...
and a new toothbrush or makeup brush also will work in place of a "official" lint brush.
