You can also stitch a circle about 1/3 of the way away from the center if the yo's are large and you are concerned with them being tugged on during use--makes an interesting variation. I am currently making an Amy Butler Quilt that uses some GIANT yo-yo's 8-12" across so I plan to use the method above and then stick a smaller yo-yo on top to cover the stitching, but only on some--i think variety is the spice of life--or something like that!
