Sew right! I wonder if more art is made on canvas or as quilts per year? Both are lovely. Around here they publish when photography, painting or canvas art shows are to happen but only mention quilt shows after the fact and minimally and quilt shows are art shows. Quilts nourish my spirit. I pick up a magazine, book or pattern with quilt pictures and I feel better immediately. I think the researchers should be applauded for bring testimony to non quilters that may lead them to a worthwhile craft and for making me very happy tonight:)
