How wonderful to hear from individuals who feel as I do about quilts. The quilt I just dropped off to my long arm friend for my 5 year old grandson. I started with 3 inch strips of batiks and built an environment for his dragons. We have setting sun, sky, island, sea, and sun's reflection. Then I appliqued 21 dragons on it. I am sure Lynette will quilt it in imaginative combinations of stitching. I think it will be as much fun for him as it was for me. I hope I can get a picture of it to attach soon.
