I would leave the pink & white borders off completely. The pink is too light and doesn't go with the primary colors you have on it now. Maybe use the yellow or red for your borders. Make one a thin stripe then a wider one around it. Then ad more flowers in different heights. Also as the others suggested more appliques..like birds, bugs, butterflies, etc. I don't understand what the dots are on there for? They would be cute if you were doing it with fish in water and they represented the bubbles coming up out of the water. But why did you use the dots? If she wanted dots as the nursery theme maybe you could do the flowers and other applique shapes with fabrics that has dots on it. I hope you don't think I am being rude, just curious about the dots. The colors are bright and I like that for babies. Bright colors stimulate the brain and make them smarter!! Let us see it again when you get the final one done. crafty_linda_b
