Well, I haven't read all the replies but if you are doing all that work to give away and ONE person is challenging you, just smile and keep on needling! You are making more people happy with your gifts than you know.
And besides, how does she know whats too big or too small - we all have different size heads! Maybe you should make one just for her; I bet she backs off!
