Oh, two layers would be a XXOOX to quilt through. poly gives the most loft, but don't get too thick either. I prefer Hobbs 80/20 because of the loft & ease of quilting. remember that
poly batting will shift more when you quilt it. would be nice
if you could get this special one long-armed because it will be
a lot to get through your machine. quilt as you go may be a good choice here. good luck with your timing !
