I've brought the layest version of American Patchwork & Quilting definitive Quilting manual. I'm giddy by the information it has. It boast to have all you want to learn about quilting, and so far it has lived up to that claim. The greatest stuff are the numerical charts. Although I won't throw away my calculator, all the figures one could hope for is in it. How to down size or upscale any quilt to your perference. Metric to American, and back again. there are some old short cuts, like the use of soap, and fingernail clippers that I learned in the sixties, and still works today. I think it was written for todays quilters, but is a god send for old folk like me.
