PlEASE,PLEASE DO NOT TAKE A STITCH OUT OF YOUR AUNT'S QUILT. It is the love that has been put into it that is important--not the stitches.
I wouldn't even border it. I would just bind it (uneven and all)and love every inch of it.
Years from now it will be the most treasured quilt that has been handed down over the generations.
