These were found at Lowes, but I also found a nice one at Atwoods! Just measure your thread spools L and W so you know they will lie flat or even stand(mini cones).
Great for keeping different threads separate! YOu know, cotton, poly, silk, etc...
They do sell one at Joanns, but it is flimsy, the back is wide open because they expect you to mount it to the wall...and it cost more than these hardware ones!
Love your idea and probably is the most cost effective. I purchased a lot of Connecting Threads spools also. Will take one spool to Lowes and check this out!
