I'm sure they are handy, BUT... I insist on pre-washing my fabrics (partly due to being allergic to the sizing and chemicals in new fabric) and it would be hard to do with those small pieces. Also, being on a tight budget, I would rather pay less for the fabric and cut it myself.
Hi, they say not to prewash. I do it anyway. I have prewashed in the bathtub and in a bucket. I then put them over the shower bar to dry I have also put them in the dryer. I have washed Jelly Rolls and Charm packs. I made a fence rail for DGD with a jelly roll and it turned out very nice. My GD loves it. BrendaK
