( I would think the mag strip would make the scissors magnets too. Would that happen) Yes!:)Any metal object like scissors slid across a magnet makes the metal magnetic:)We learned this in 8th grade science and I went home, picked up my mom's good sewing scissors and tried it...wow..it was amazing! The teacher was right!LOL Every pin w/in a 5ft radious flew to those scissors!! My dad had to take them to work (he was a machinist) and de-magnetize them:)I think I came out of grounding about a year ago....:)SKeat
