I printed out a large sign and posted it on the wall behind my washing machine:
NO REDS
CHECK POCKETS
This was so my hubby would at least check before he put everything in the washing machine. I'm also guilty so I need the sign too. I learned the hard way as a teenager when I put my dad's overalls in the washing machine at the laundromat and forgot to check his pockets. He had a can of Prince Albert that came open. Laundromat was not amused.
