I have a pair if pinking shears. For the amount of time I use them, they work fine. I like to pink curved edges for turning and sometimes a fabric shape. I don't like to pink the edges of blocks to sew together because you can't match the edges well to get a good 1/4 in. seam. I think it wastes fabric too because I am not comfortable with the inward wedge being into the 1/4 in. seam so I would be cutting the seam allowance bigger.JMHO
