I have had rentals years ago and some of the people smoked quite heavily and of cousrse smoke permeated the apartments. So what I did was put a dish of ammonia full strentgh in each room and close it up overnight or whatever. Opended up windows when it was okay to do so next day to freshen everything. Worked like a charm! Why not try to do this with the fabric. Put some things in a big box and see if that helps. Then there is the vinegar to add to the wash. Good luck. Crisimi
