Mine was $218 for a 2200 sq ft house. This was less than I paid last year, even with the excessive heat we've been having. The reason? My DH has finally seen the light! He has finally realized that turning the thermostat down even one or two degrees can make the cost go up tremendously. We turn it up to 80 in the daytime, because we're mostly not there anyway, and we use ceiling fans day and night. At night we only turn it down to 76, but cooling four degrees in a big house in the hot Texas summer uses a lot of electricity. I think my next bill will probably be higher, and we've got a couple of months more of really high temperatures, but every little bit of conserving helps.
