I am another of those "old ladies" of 75 (in another couple months) who has been sewing since I was about 7...learned on a treadle, made clothes for myself, my ex, my kids, my present DH, and my granddaughters. I learned on an old Mac before home computers had hard drives. I keep 3 computers going with the occasional help of my daughter (who taught me on the Mac) and they have 3 different OS...XP pro, Vista and Win 7. Hope to learn my embroidery machine soon. Seems harder than the 3 computers!
