I am planning a move to NV and will supplement (or use instead of my AC) with a cooler. Is a large portion of your bill because of the pool? I had hoped a cooler would be much cheaper than AC.
I'm in northern NV - which is a whole other planet from southern NV - but my power bill stays the same pretty well all year -- the forced air furnace in the winter uses about as much as the swamp cooler in the summer --- now the gas bill... that's a different story!
The gas bill? How is that?
