Yes, the book "Daddy's Ties" has scads of ideas - from quilts to lamp shades. Great book. I made two dresdens from Daddy's ties and I'm working/thinking about two crazy quilts. Ties are amazingly easy to work with, but you must interface the really silky ones first.
