Thanks for all the great comments about the tie quilt. The pattern is in a book by Fons and Porter "Quick quilts from the heart". I used 171 ties and had to repeat 21, for a total of 192 ties. I wanted a different tie for each blade of the fan. I can't send you the pattern because it is copyrighted. Hope you can find the book.
