I bought large plastic table cloths and thumb tacked them to my wall wrong side out and the blocks stick on there really good. I have a big wall and marked the different size quilts that I make - then I can quickly see the size of border that I want to add. Of course for a king or a queen I have to put it going across my design wall and not up and down. Good Luck
