Like I mentioned before, it was unusual for me to throw a quilt away and I haven't done it ever since. But I also have to mention, it did make me feel better and I'm not regretting it.
All of you made wonderful suggestions to give the "unwanted, ugly" quilts or quilttops away. This would have been a better choice of mine and I do agree with all of you.
So in the future, should I ever come across of one of those "uglies" again, I will listen to your advise and may give it to a shelter, etc..
Should someone be reading this and have one of the "unwanted", may be you got an inspiration and will give it away, instead of being "bad", like me. :cry:
There is always someone out there who will appreciate and being thankful for a warm cover. No matter how "ugly" it will seem to us, being warm makes it beautiful.
