I do not ask my DH anything about my quilts anymore. If it is not something that has to do with 50's or 60's era Chevys, he just doesn't care.
The last quilt top I made, I had the fabric sitting around "petting" it. He said, "What in the world are you gonna make with that?"
Sigh. "A quilt," I answered.
After I got it done, he told me that it was the prettiest one I had made so far. And that was more than he has said about anything I have ever made, except for when I reupholstered the seat in his 65 Chevy pickup. He shows THAT to EVERYONE.
On the good side, he also doesn't seem to care how much fabric I have until he can't get to the bathroom!
