I am very lucky that our church has a little group that meets on Tuesdays. We talk about all kinds of things, and they have big tables for when we need to lay our quilts out for pinning. Also my sister lives next door and she is a quilter too.
When I am not at the church, or with my sister, I just have a lovely quiet time by myself. I do not even turn on the radio. I do sometimes, talk to the dog though...... :-)
