Goodluna, I'd love to see a picture of your blocks. I had saved mcdaniels pics of the first block and of the finished quilt and think I looked at them every day and liked them more each time....until I made up my mind....I HAD to have one like that.
I had to order my fabric from Hobby Lobby online but now one JUST OPENED YESTERDAY right near me...heading there this evening. Only problem is that we'll be heading back to FL in 5 weeks and the closest Hobby Lobby is over an hour way...LOL.
